What actually lives inside Groove

THE
WORLD
INSIDE.

This is the part where we show you what's going on inside Groove without making it feel like a product tour. Think of it as a world tour instead.

Feature 01

THE GROUP
IS OUT
THERE.

See who's out right now in your area. Filter by activity, by style, by vibe. Find the group ride that's forming three blocks from you, or start your own and watch people show up.

It's not a dating app. It's not LinkedIn. It's the thing that makes you text your friends "someone's doing a sunset roll tonight, you in?" — except now there's a hundred people saying yes instead of four.

MOVE
Feature 02

YOUR
ROUTE IS
SOMETHING.

When you move through your city with Groove, it leaves a trace. Not in a surveillance way — in a presence way. Your movement becomes visible to the people looking for the same city you're living in.

The routes you skate become part of the community map. The places you roll through get marked. The world fills up with evidence that people like you are out there, doing this thing, making it real.

Feature 03

THE CITY
MAPPED
FOR REAL.

Community-built. Real people marking real spots. Smooth stretches. Rough patches that'll eat your wheels. The path along the canal that's perfect at 6am. The parking garage with the best concrete in the city. All of it, crowd-sourced, honest.

Not algorithm-curated. Not sponsored. Just skaters marking what's good and what isn't, building the map they wish they'd had.

ROLL
Feature 04

IF YOU
BUILD IT,
THEY ROLL.

Throw skate nights. Organise morning rides. Start something weird and themed and niche and wonderful. Groove gives you the tools to make it easy and the community to make it real.

Events don't have to be big. They can be three people agreeing to meet at a particular corner at a particular time. Groove makes that happen without a 14-text group thread.

Common questions

THE
FAQ

Do I have to rollerblade to use Groove? +
No. Groove works for any kind of wheeled movement — skates, skateboards, bikes, scooters, whatever gets you outside and moving. The point is the movement and the community, not the specific gear.
Is this a fitness tracking app? +
Not really. You can track stuff if you want, but that's not the point. The point is finding the ride, going on the ride, and finding people to go on more rides with. The fitness is a side effect, not a goal.
What if I'm a beginner? +
Then you're exactly the kind of person Groove is for. There are beginner rides. There are people who remember what it was like to start. You're not entering a competition — you're joining a community. Beginners welcome, always.
Is my location data private? +
Yes. You control what's visible and to whom. Real-time location sharing is always opt-in. Route history is yours. You decide what the community sees. Full details in the Privacy Policy.
When does the app launch? +
Soon. We're doing an early access rollout — pun intended. Sign up for early access and you'll be in the first wave. We'll announce more when there's actually something to announce.
What cities will it be in? +
We're starting in LA — Venice first, naturally — and expanding from there. The app is designed to work wherever people are moving outdoors together, so the short answer is: everywhere, eventually.
